Shadow Yoga I

Shadow Yoga I is the best place to learn about Shadow Yoga and begin to build your foundation. The curriculum of Shadow Yoga rests upon a progressive system of learning (vinyasa krama), which presents techniques in a cohesive, layered way. In Shadow Yoga I we teach large, vigorous movements that help reduce physical blockages, introduce internal techniques to stabilize the mind, and begin bandha practices (tie or seal) to fortify the central power structure. All activities are demonstrated, explained and thoroughly instructed, and there is no expectation that you have any knowledge or experience with the material.

Scheduled for one Friday per month, this free, open forum is intended for anyone interested in the philosophy of yoga and its application in everyday life. The discussion centers around a topic of interest such as non-harming, cultivating contentment, etc., and you can share as little or as much as you like.
